Veneers can be used to:
* correct poorly formed or mildly mal-positioned teeth
* close gaps between teeth
* mask internal stains
* restore partially broken-down teeth
It is possible to place veneers with no or minimal tooth preparation, so tooth structure can be preserved. The veneer is bonded to the tooth structure with tooth-coloured resin cement.
Lumineers are a type of veneer that is extremely thin, and so are designed for placement without any tooth preparation.
Prior to having veneers or no-preparation veneers made, we recommend that you have a wax mock-up done on a model, which will allow you to see what the finished result would look like before doing anything irreversible.
See examples of what we can achieve with veneers in the gallery.
